Christmas Day Truce 1914.

One hundred years ago this month the famous Christmas truce and football match between British and German soldiers took place in this very field at Ploegsteert, near Ypres in Belgium. A small oasis of humanity in one of the most devastating wars known to mankind.

We would like to wish all our friends a happy and peaceful Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
