USAF F4 Phantom fighter / bomber

One of the best things about guiding D Day tours is the people I get to meet. I have spent so many enjoyable days in the company of interesting and accomplished people from all over the world. It is a privilege  to meet so many great people and to spend time in their company.

Yesterday, I spent a superb day touring the U.S. Sector of the Normandy Beaches in the company of a former USAF F4 Phantom Navigator and his wife.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, his stories of Dive bombing over Hanoi and hitching lifts on a C-47 were fascinating. It was a pleasure to meet them.

You just never know who you’re going to meet on a D-Day Tour!
