Half Day D-Day Tour

Our Half Day tour of the D-Day Landing Beaches is designed to give an overview of what happened on the Normandy Beaches on 6 June 1944. We visit some of the most popular and best-known D-Day sites. Obviously, on a half-day tour, time is limited but we manage to get a lot into our tour without making it seem to rushed or perfunctory. We have several options, depending on your starting point. You don’t need your own transport as we can meet you in one of the beach villages, or pick you up from your hotel, airport, ferry terminal or one of the train stations in the area.

Half-Day D Day Tour Suggestions

Tours of Omaha Beach, Juno Beach and Utah beach are very popular, as are visits to Pointe du Hoc and the American Cemetery, overlooking Colleville Sur Mer. However, our itineraries are not set in stone. If you simply let Malcolm know they type of thing you would like to see, he can conduct a half-day tour that will suit your wishes. We are never rigid or rushed in our itineraries and we never lose sight of the fact that you are our guests and that is what you want that counts. We can adapt our tours to suit your needs. Our tours are always small groups, rarely more than five or six people at a time. If you feel like staying longer at one of the sites we visit, we can rework our itinerary as we go.
